Gnome Project Desktop
Introduction
The idea behind the Gnome Project Desktop is to allow our typical user to switch his computer to deal with only the project he's working on; emails not for that project will be shunted aside, IM contacts not relevant will be ignored, files for that project made available and others not. It also integrates well with SugarCRM, which also does project handling. Switching between projects involves changing a dropdown list in the Gnome panel, and that's the only user-visible function of this system.
The above paragraph should be positives rather than negatives and therefore needs a rewrite.
This spec is a living document and therefore constantly in flux.
