That’s just bollocks. It made me upper middle class, saying I value my country club membership.
The questions were lazily phrased and most didn’t fit into the “Agree” “Disagree” clasification.
Oh, and the question that was along the lines of, “Do you work long, hard hours, for minimal pay?” may as well read, “Hello chap, are you stereotypically working class?”
I’m the same percentage middle class as Aq, but I’m actually ‘alternative’ whatever that might mean, I’m also more working class than middle class.
If you take me as myself I suppose I’m working class or lower middle class, if you run on what my parents are (which is the traditional way of doing things I believe) then I’m middle class, but they’re both very much working class by birth, what’s that all about! :)
Matt: yeah. I was halfway expecting loads of similar questions, on the lines of “Do you have a conservatory?“, “Have you thought about sending your children to private school but can’t afford it“, “Have you any criminal convictions for beating your wife?“, and “Do the kids go hungry while you drink lager all night and watch Sky TV?”
I’m middle class too (MC 71%, A 50%, UMC 50%, LC 50%, LUC 17%). My dad was an other ranking soldier, which I would have thought counts me as working class, though how anyone working in a library can pretend to be anything but middle class I don’t know.
The theme tune to this quiz should be ‘Paintball’s Coming Home’ by Half Man Half Biscuit.
Hee!
I so can’t be bothered taking a quiz to confirm that I’m hideously middle class, so won’t see the results – is there really no Working Class category? And since when was Alternative a class?
Jack: I suspect that anyone who makes up a quiz to determine what class you are thinks that the working class is the lower class. Besides, you’re all fucking peasants as far as I can see, as the (working class hero made good) John Lennon has glibly informed us.

I don’t get what “alternative” is, either.

I’m surprised to find a online quiz result posted on a blog that’s not on LiveJournal, Blogger, or Blogspot. :)
