And this is LugRadio Live and Unleashed UK 2008 live show now available, written , and concerning LugRadio Live, LugRadio

If you couldn't make it to LugRadio Live UK 2008 this year, or if you could but want to relive some of the experience, you can now download the live LugRadio show as audio. Go get it! Video is coming: we*'re trying quite hard to make the video look thoroughly brilliant. Also, keep your eye on the LRL UK 2008 talks page; recorded video for each of the talks is being gradually added, one at a time, again thanks to Tony. There's a few up now and more will come along as time goes on.

Ah, time for more LugRadio greatness! I'm very sad to see this show end, especially since I didn't discover LugRadio before april this year, and missed LRL.

Also, the Microsoft-tech/bug-support story in my mail for the last show either drowned, or wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. No t-shirt for me, then :p.

Anyway, I have downloaded the whole back-catalogue, and listened to it at least thrice during the summer. I have experienced the LugRadio syndrome several times. :)

Outstanding! I'm off to download the audio now - will there be any recordings of further LRL events if any take place?

Also, am I the only one that's seeing replies to this blog as double-spaced columns of one word per line? Multiple comments on some older entries also overlap enough to be unreadable. I'm using FireFox 2.0.0.16, if it matters.

I couldn't disagree with you guys more about Linux being ready for grandparents, etc...

Issues that I faced today that no normal consumer would ever want to address:

1) To get my multi monitor setup working as I wanted I had to add a MetaModes line to my xorg.conf. I took a guess about what MetaModes would do because I couldn't find any decent docs. The UI should handle this sort of stuff...

2) My flash audio in firefox doesn't work in I launch banshee before a flash player.

We're miles away from taking over the desktop.

@ Erik.

Most consumers only have a single monitor, which works fine. Dual head is an advanced user/corporate thing.

The flash player thing is incredibly annoying, but I have only experienced it in hardy, so hopefully it is fixed in intrepid.

Anonymous: the layout is broken in Firefox 2. Sorry. I'm going to try and fix it when I get a chance...

Ah, as long as you know about it, and I'm not the only one seeing it, that's cool. Thanks for the reply. :)
