The drink of the gods
Chai latte is the nicest drink ever. That is all.
Well, not quite all. I have just discovered that Twinings make chai tea bags.
If you buy one of those milk frother things that look like a sex toy then you can make yourself a chai latte for the princely cost of about 5p (really), which is rather cheaper than the three quid I got stung for in Cafe Nero earlier.
hands up who thinks this is another fad that stuart will go off in 2 weeks!

It sounds simply divine, I’m going to give it a try. Maybe it’ll get me off my 30-cups-a-day coffee addiction?! I think I’ll give the strange looking dildo a miss though.

I’ll see your Twinings, and raise you a box of “Palanquin Spiced Tea Bags” (available from Asian supermarkets and various branches of Tesco!) - best masala chai in Britain (and I’ve tried a few)…

Jaime: the process went like this:
15.50: buy a cup of chai latte in Cafe Nero
16.05: pick up Sam from hairdressers, rave about the niceness of chai
16.09: enter Waitrose, the nearest supermarket
16.11: find they do two makes of chai tea bags, Twinings and some other make. The Twinings were £1.50 for 50, the others were £2.50 for 20.
16.13: buy Twinings
16.28: get home, make first cup
Shopping around for different varieties didn’t really enter into the equation. It’s a new experience for me to go from broad ignorance of a product through abject covetousness to possession of same in half an hour, so hopefully I can be excused not choosing the best chai on the market! At the rate I’m going through it, those fifty bags will be gone in a week, and next time I promise to try and be a bit more discerning…

Cannae comment on the taddy aspect, seeing as I’m in the mids of a Mochachino fad.
However….
Those little sextoy wisk things, “wiskolait” I believe is what JML (aka that shit you see sold on portable TVs around woolworths) calls them; BUT Baileys had a promotion on their website a little while ago where you could fill in your details and they would send you one, completely free of charge (except, now, of course, they have your details and can targeted advertise your arse!) - no idea if it’s still running, but will help keep your rollies budget more reasonable :P

Just read baout starbucks and their $0.02 cents for the poor farmders. I will just stick to tea. had jasmine tea for the first time recently…still not sure what i think.
