And this is Another DHTML Utopia review, written , and concerning My books, JavaScript and the DOM
Nate Klaiber reviews DHTML Utopia and is rather nice about it. Thanks, Nate! Did I mention that you should buy my books?

Valid HTML5, at least in theory, except for the bits that aren't because I'm that futuristic that I'm ahead of the spec, oh yes. HTML5 help from Bruce Lawson, among others. Fonts from the superb FontSquirrel. End.
Jeremy's book is a very good segue way into yours. Jeremy's has a tendency to read a little more quickly because a lot of the examples are admittedly more simple, but the underlying concepts are, obviously, very similar!
If you are fairly familiar with JS, this is an outstanding book - though you may want to re-read a few chapters here and there. The concepts are a little more advanced and it's quite important that you understand them before moving on. I have made the mistake of glossing over things and moving on and then running into train wrecks with my own scripts.
The Events chapter is VERY important and VERY informative.
Anyway, top notch book and I hope I get the opportunity to meet and drink with you one day soon.
