And this is Search my feeds in Google Reader, written , and concerning Rants, Software

Why can't I search for something only in my feeds in Google Reader? Why? Why is this not possible? I never ever want to search the whole web from a feed reader. I want to search my feeds for something I read a while back all the time. Why can't I do it? Aargh!

Exactly! This bizzare omission has been bothering me for ever. For that matter, why is it so hard to subscribe to something immediately--why do I have to "preview" it first? I just want to subscribe to a feed in the future--I don't care what it looks like now. There should be a "subscribe" button that actually performs that action.

For that matter, does anyone actually use this "search for new content" feature? I already have plenty of feeds in Reader--I'd prefer a way to filter the feeds that I already have to a way to search for more.

Valid HTML5, at least in theory, except for the bits that aren't because I'm that futuristic that I'm ahead of the spec, oh yes. HTML5 help from Bruce Lawson, among others.
