And this is Group H, written , and concerning Updates

In the sweepstake at work, we all drew a group for the World Cup. If anyone in your group wins, you win. I got group H. Spain, the Ukraine, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia. Without wishing to cause offence to any readers I have for those countries: my life sucks. That's ten quid I'll never see again. Dammit.

Too funny!

We had a similar sweepstake at work, but drawing teams, not groups. For my 2 quid I got ... Brazil!! :-D

The worst thing is that however much I adore and follow rugby and cricket, I know and care little about soccer.

Same here, tho my quid drew me Japan. At least they've got a chance to come second in their group :)

Take heart - my mate was going to stick a tenner on whoever he got in his work's Euro 2004 sweepstake but didn't bother cos he got Greece... They were ~50:1 at the time

Two quid for two teams in my office. I got Mexico and Ecuador, so I don't value my chances. At least Holland was left over and went into the biscuit tin.

We're about to draw our Office Sweepstakes. Pound per team, hoping that people will buy more than one team.

By the way, if you're wanting to setup your own office sweepstakes, I've created a mini kit on World Cup KickOff.

I picked Spain for our office sweepstake and, because she wasn't in the office that day, I picked a team for Mrs davee on the understanding that she would pay me back later. I picked "Togo" from the bag for her. She has refused to pay me back.

So whichever of these 4 beats Brazil in the quarter-finals plays England in the semis then. Yeah - you've lost your money :)
