. Here I write about many things. In the past I wrote about other things but the past is past. I write code for people to play with, I write about my life on Twitter, and I write here.

On I wrote The book update, with a poster, on the subject of My books.

DHTML Utopia, my book, which is going to be excellent by the way, went to print yesterday. So you, my beloved audience, should be able to buy it from SitePoint in a few weeks! Plus, if you buy it from SP you get this really cool A2 poster:
DOM and JavaScript Quick Reference Guide poster, with sections on the Document Object Model and lots of other stuff that you deliberately can't see in the image

So excited. So excited.

You’re excited?! How do you think we feel? The first JavaScript book that tells you how to do things properly with the DOM - how long have we had to wait for that?

And then Jeremy Keith’s similar book should be out later in the year too, which will make the set nicely.

A joke, to celebrate.
Why shouldn’t you wear Y Fronts in Ukraine?
Because Chernobyl Fallout…

Must admit, I’ve poked around your site before and not had enough understanding to get any benefit from it.

I’ve been searching for a modern DOM/ECMAScript book for months unsuccesfully and then yesterday hit Amazon.co.uk for another look. Saw your book and ordered it there and then. Only afterward did I realise who the author was and I’m glad I picked that book to buy now, you do some funky stuff and I’m looking forward to actually understanding it. Now, hurry up and ship it Mr Amazon sir! hehe!
