‘Every time I design a site in CSS I hit the same wall where the logic works, the CSS and XHTML validate, and the display is perfect except in Browser X, where it is so bad I need to start over. It’s nice to see that JZ suffers like the rest of us. I redesigned westmids.biz the day you did your makeover but still haven’t found the time to fully finish it or test it in browsers x and y.

I’m in the process of re-designing schwuk.com:http://www.schwuk.com at the moment, but like sparkes, I haven’t had time to fully test it yet. I try and concentrate on Mozilla/Firefox & IE 6.0, and maybe test it on IE 5(.5), Opera & Konq if I can be bothered.
Tweaking it for every browser slows down development too much.

I have access to Mozilla on the computer where I do most of my web stuff but not IE; I have IE on my home computer but never have the time to play around on it, hence all my menus look pants or worse on IE. I like my menus, so sod it. I have yet to properly examine my logs to see if anyone but me is likely to bothered by this anyway. I do have Firefox at home too, if XP lets me use it.
Incidentally, I like the way the comment previews itself to the right of this box as I write…
