Dave Shea’s image slicing technique outlined in the latest ALA is absolutely bloody excellent. I had to read it a couple of times to fully get it (especially the overlapping-blobs bit) but it’s really viciously clever. I wish I could think of an excuse to use it, now!

Hence the comment I wrote against the zebra striped article on the ALA site. I'm toying with the idea of writing up something about it...
I felt exactly the same when I read it ;-) great minds think alike, and apparently so do ours ;-)
Strangly enough, I though of you when I read the other article (about zebra striped tables). I looked at the javascript source and I thought 'I wonder how short Aqs version would be'.
