Darn it, it’s a duplicate. I tried really hard to make sure I looked first. However, it appears that I filed it under Mozilla and the first bug was under Firebird — the Password Managers are apparently different. Not sure how I could have solved that.

I couldn’t agree more - I’ve thought this on many occasions. I /always/ have to say “No” to remember my password, simply because I’m never 100% sure I’m putting in the right thing.

if you put in wrong password, and get it right on the next try, firebird remembers the correct one.
