On I wrote Improved comment visibility, on the subject of Uncategorized.

I've shamefully stolen Robert K. Brown's Improved Comment Visibility trick, because it's very neat. Hover over the name of a commenter on the front page, as shown after a post, to see the first bit of their comment.

One problem – this goes along with the Nice Titles but also affects this to a point – IE6 chokes badly, reformatting the page, triggering the cutoff bug. I wasn’t able to even open this entry or see the popup for RKB’s comments on the front page because it kept throwing me to the top of the page and cutting off the text. Resized the window, tried again, same thing.Don’t ya just hate IE?

Glad you like it, Stuart, although I’ll be the first to admit that it’s not nearly as tricked out as your nice titles. Mostly the result of endless tinkering with my MT templates.

I’m very interested in the subject of comment visibility. Found this site while making a search. Thanks for all the great info!

Just wondering if I could have permission to use this trick as well.

No permission required. Go ahead.
