New Halloween memo


ESR has published a newly leaked internal Microsoft memo as Halloween 7. The memo discusses how MS’s anti-Linux anti-GPL marketing drive is backfiring, but highlights some key areas on which the free software community needs to work to ensure that we don’t lose to the larger marketing budget, particularly potential patent lawsuits and Linux’s genuinely lower total cost of ownership (as admitted by MS themselves!)
